During field control activities, the Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora has increasingly encountered homemade hunting traps made of steel cable, set up in areas where hoofed animals of regulated species are most likely to appear.
The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate reminds that, in accordance with the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting, hunting with the use of snares is prohibited and entails both administrative and criminal liability.
