An open and frank discussion was held at Lepel Secondary School No. 1 with the district's high school students about one of the most pressing issues of our time – drug addiction. The dialogue platform "Drug Addiction. Consequences. Responsibility" was attended by those who daily face the consequences of this evil: a prosecutor, a police officer, and doctors.

Their goal is not to intimidate, but to give teenagers a truthful picture of how one wrong decision can ruin a life.

Here are the main points that EVERY teenager and parent should hear:

"Easy money" – heavy sentences. "Stashers," "graffiti artists," "athletes" – behind these are not dollars, but real criminal articles and up to 20 years of imprisonment. Anatoly Burmistrov, Head of the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate, called for personal responsibility for every step.

"Easy" drugs – severe diagnoses. Narcologist Mark Shamsutdinov, a psychiatrist-narcologist, dispelled the myth of "safe substances" and presented shocking data: 60% of marijuana users receive psychiatric diagnoses, 40% of them – schizophrenia.

The body under attack. Valeologist Olga Zhernosek reminded: drugs hit the immune system, liver, reproductive system, turning a person into a disabled person.

The culmination of the meeting was the speech by the Prosecutor of Lepel District, Vitaly Zhigimont. He did not limit himself to words but conducted a visual experiment showing how, using the naivety and curiosity of teenagers, they can be manipulated by criminals.
