The meeting of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, which will summarize the results of the elections of deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the fifth convocation, will be held on September 28. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the CEC. According to preliminary election results, 109 deputies have been elected to the lower house of parliament. A repeat vote will be held in one constituency. The elections of members of the Council of the Republic were held on September 25 at meetings of deputies of local councils of deputies of the basic level in each region and the Minsk City Council of Deputies. 56 senators were elected to the upper house of parliament - 8 people from each region and the capital.
