The "Polimir" plant of OJSC "Naftan" is exploring the possibility of organising the production of additives for motor gasoline. This was announced in an interview with the newspaper "Vestnik Naftana" by the General Director of OJSC "Naftan" (Novopolotsk, Vitebsk region), Oleg Zhebin.
Currently, the organisation of production of additives for motor gasoline by the "Polimir" plant is being considered. The implementation of this decision will allow the enterprise to be supplied with the necessary component for the production of motor gasoline of grade not lower than AI-95.
According to Oleg Zhebin, such synergy provides tangible benefits: minimal costs for raw material delivery and stable supplies regardless of market fluctuations. This is an example of import substitution: previously, before the merger, raw materials for "Polimir" were partially imported.
