The sowing campaign in the district has smoothly transitioned into fodder harvesting. The scope of work is substantial. It is necessary to ensure the procurement of 67,040 tonnes of all types of fodder in terms of feed units for the stall period, of which 42,872 tonnes are forage; the production and procurement of forage in the volume of 42,872 thousand feed units, or at least 32.7 centners of feed units per conventional head.
The task has been set to re-establish improved hayfields and pastures on 2850 hectares, including the establishment of long-term cultivated pastures on 500 hectares. The harvesting of first-cut grasses must be completed no later than June 25, ensuring the procurement of forage from the first cut at 80% of the target.
