7 December, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Housing and communal services issues were of greatest concern to the residents of Ushachy District during a personal reception with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko, Irina Litvinova, chief specialist of the sector for working with citizens' and legal entities' appeals of the Ushachy District Executive Committee, told a BELTA correspondent. 13 residents of the district attended the reception with the Speaker today. The housing and communal services issues concerned the possibility of putting houses on the waiting list for capital repairs, compliance with the temperature regime, balcony repairs, and improvement of city streets. Members of the consumer cooperative "Zarechny" of the urban settlement of Ushachy, which was commissioned on 28 September this year, came to the Speaker's reception with words of gratitude. This cooperative included 173 people who united to gasify their homes using preferential opportunities provided by legislation for such cases. Citizens' appeals also concerned the possibility of revising pension accruals; registering citizens in need of improved housing conditions; postponing the commissioning of an individual residential building constructed using a preferential loan to start its repayment later; and privatizing a house located on land managed by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. To resolve the latter two issues, Vladimir Andreichenko suggested that citizens contact him in writing as the deputy for the Dokshytsy Electoral District No. 22. The Speaker of the House of Representatives provided comprehensive answers and explanations on all received appeals.-0-
