On September 6, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A resident of Liozno district overdid the discipline of her drunken husband - the man died. The incident in the village of Grebenniki was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Investigative Committee of Belarus for the Vitebsk region. A 51-year-old man, who returned from work in a state of intoxication, caused indignation and rage in his wife. During the ensuing quarrel, the woman, who was sober, beat him with a stick. On the same day, some time later, the man, unable to withstand his wife's disciplinary measures, died. A criminal case has been initiated against the resident of Liozno district, born in 1968, under Part 3 of Article 147 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ("Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, which negligently caused the death of the victim"), which provides for up to 15 years of imprisonment. The woman has been detained. Previously, this family had not attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies and was characterized positively. -0-
