Winter tires must be fitted to all wheels of vehicles from December 1.

  From November 27 to December 5, the republican preventive campaign "Change Your Style for Winter!" is taking place.

  Operating a vehicle in winter is much more difficult than in summer. In order for the vehicle to be stable on the road and not cause trouble for the driver, one important action should be taken – to change tires in a timely manner.

  – According to the requirements of the Traffic Regulations, from December 1 to March 1, vehicles with a technically permissible total mass of up to 3.5 tons inclusive, cars and light trucks with a total mass of over 3.5 tons, as well as buses with a total mass of up to 5 tons must be equipped with winter tires. They are installed on all wheels of the vehicle, and the residual tread pattern depth must be at least 4 mm.
