Employees of urban enterprises and organizations worked diligently at the republican subbotnik. It was pleasant to observe how students of the Lepel Agrarian-Technical College, the Vocational Lyceum, employees of enterprises, trade, healthcare and education, the banking sector, etc., were taking care of their assigned territories. Pupils of secondary schools actively worked on establishing proper order and cleanliness. Activists of the Lepel regional organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Association of the Visually Impaired" under the leadership of Olga Sokolovskaya also worked with great enthusiasm. Representatives of the Lepel regional organization of the Public Association "Communist Party of Belarus" were also involved in tidying up the city park.
In a few hours, our city became significantly more beautiful, acquiring a more attractive appearance. Neatly swept sidewalks, whitewashed trees and curbs, and cleanliness on the streets delight the eyes of passers-by. As noted by Svetlana Polyachenko, Head of the Economics Department of the District Executive Committee, more than 200 million rubles were earned at the republican subbotnik.
