The regional boxing tournament among juniors was held in Krupki, Minsk region. Six trainees from the Lepel Children's and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve took part in it and returned home with 5 gold medals and one silver medal.
Kirill Demko took first place in the 36 kg weight category, and Vlad Zakrevsky excelled in the slightly lighter 34 kg category. Evgeny Markovsky was unrivalled in the 40 kg category, and Pavel Atrakhimovich in the 52 kg category. Oleg Yurchenko, who took first place in the 46 kg category, lived up to the expectations of his father, who drives the boy 30 km to training. Vasily Khalyavkin took second place in the 80 kg weight category.
