"Ringing Voices"

A notable event in the cultural life of Lepel was the children's song contest "Zvonkiye Golosa" (Ringing Voices), which took place on November 6, 2011, at the District House of Culture. Young talents from the District House of Culture, children's art schools, and rural Houses of Culture participated in the event. Ten young performers demonstrated their vocal skills and artistry, leaving a vivid impression on the audience with their original costumes.

Participants were awarded Diplomas in various nominations and received soft toys as gifts. The main prize – the audience choice award – went to eight-year-old Stepan Demko, who represented the Slobodskoy Rural House of Culture.
