On the state of trade and public catering in Lepel district

The trade infrastructure of Lepel district is represented by: 336 trade facilities, including 189 shops with a total retail area of 18.7 thousand sq.m., 85 public catering facilities, including 50 publicly accessible ones for 1512 seats, 1 shopping center and 2 markets. The rural population is served by 49 shops, as well as 5 mobile shops of the Lepel branch of Vitebsk regional consumer society and 1 postal office of Lepel city No. 4. According to the information from the state information resource "Register of Household Services of the Republic of Belarus", 72 business entities provide household services to the population in the territory of Lepel district, of which 57 are individual entrepreneurs (79.2%) and 18 legal entities (25.0%), 60 facilities are in operation, including 11 in rural areas.
