The Help 2023 special tactical exercise will be conducted at the 1134th military medical center of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Belarus and at the Gozhsky training ground on 26-30 June, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

“The purpose of the exercise is to practice evacuation and emergency medical support for a separate mechanized brigade during defense operations,” the Defense Ministry stressed.

The exercise will include instructions and methodological classes with the personnel of the 1134th military medical center and the medical service of the 6th separate mechanized brigade; training of giving first-aid in the combat zone; the study of the algorithm of providing pre-hospital care and first aid to the wounded at the medical center of the battalion, as well as surgical and therapeutic care in the separate medical detachment.

In addition, the personnel of the medical service will be taught to deploy tents and equip units of the medical detachment. The military will improve their skills in reception, registration and triage of the wounded in the medical center of the battalion and the medical detachment. The personnel of the medical service will be shown the algorithm used by the medical unit to receive and provide medical care to the injured.
