Belarus and China are developing friendly relations, and the friendship of the leaders of the countries Aleksandr Lukashenko and Xi Jinping serves as the basis for strengthening Belarusian-Chinese cooperation, Party Secretary of Peking University Hao Ping said at a meeting between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and representatives of other Chinese universities on 25 June, BelTA has learned.
The Chinese guest highlighted the close friendly relations between Alexander Lukashenko and Chinese President Xi Jinping. "He has a lot of respect for you," Hao Ping remarked.
Hao Ping recalled Aleksandr Lukashenko's visit to Peking University and his speech, which left a deep impression on students and the faculty. He also touched on the mutual support and understanding between the two countries: "We can all feel it."
He also drew attention to the common position of the heads of the two states in terms of the development of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in education. "We will make every effort to develop cooperation in education further," Hao Ping stressed.
