More than 6.1 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 5 August, 6.178 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which includes 5.127 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops and 1.051 tonnes of winter rapeseed.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast harvested 1.634 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed), Brest Oblast 1.449 million tonnes, Grodno Oblast 1.380 million tonnes, Mogilev Oblast 642,100 tonnes, Gomel Oblast 613,400 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast 459,000 tonnes.
As to other crops, 81.1% of spring barley, 80.5% of winter rye, 71.0% of wheat, 67% of oats, 66.3% of triticale, 51.8% of legumes were harvested.
All oblasts have completed harvesting winter barley and winter rapeseed.
Meanwhile, flax was pulled from 37,300 hectares, which is 83.3% of the area under this crop.
Harvesting of winter barley and winter rapeseed has been completed.
