MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of France Nicolas Sarkozy on the national holiday - Bastille Day, BelTA learned from the presidential press service. Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the mutual steps forward and expansion of the Belarusian-French cooperation will promote the friendly relations between the two countries, peace and stability in Europe. The Belarusian Head of State expressed hope for further strengthening of the Belarusian-French bilateral contacts.
