The Belarusian side has followed all necessary procedures for this purpose. Everything will be clear after December 25, the minister underlined. According to the official, Belarus is holding talks with Noruma Bank on arranging a loan as well. Nikolai Korbut did not mention the exact sum of the credit. Moreover, the minister underlined, in early 2008 Belarus will conduct talks with Bayern LB on attracting a new syndicated loan to the tune of $50 million. In December 2006 Belarus raised a ?65 million syndicated loan and paid it off in December 2007. Belarus’ Finance Ministry intends to attract a new syndicated credit on more preferential terms, Nikolai Korbut stressed.
