Lukashenko: A multipolar world is here to stay
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Vietnamese Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang on 9 September, BelTA has learned.
“As for the development of international relations, Belarus and Vietnam have similar views: we are in favor of a multipolar world. Whether we want it or not, a multipolar world is here to stay. In this regard, in a rapidly changing world, a very complex, ambiguous world, security issues come first. I hope that your visit to Belarus will contribute to the strengthening of our relations in security,” the head of state said.In turn, Luong Tam Quang said that the visit of a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security to Belarus would contribute to deepening friendly relations between the two countries.“I would like to confirm that the current visit of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security delegation to Belarus will contribute to deepening friendly relations not only between the two countries but also between their law enforcement agencies,” the Vietnamese minister said. “The visit is of high significance. I think it will be a good stimulus for the development of relations between the agencies of Belarus and Vietnam.”
