Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to workers of the pharmaceutical and microbiological industries to congratulate them on their professional day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Today, our country is actively developing new medicines based on the latest achievements of biotechnology, genetic engineering, immunology and molecular genetics," the head of state said. "The range of manufactured medicines, which are available to Belarusians and in demand abroad, is expanding."

Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced that high scientific potential, dedication to the professions and a responsible approach will help the industries to fulfill the tasks, the main of which is the preservation of people's lives and health.

The president wished everyone professional success, happiness and prosperity.
