Minsk and Barnaul need to consider launching a direct air service, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Governor of Russia’s Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko in Minsk on 27 May, BelTA has learned.
The head of state stressed that Belarus is interested in the development of tourism with Altai Territory. "This is one of the most beautiful, simply fabulous regions of Russia," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “To intensify trips, business and tourism, we need good transport links. More precisely, we need a direct air service between Minsk and Barnaul. This, in my opinion, is a relevant topic for us to study."
